Freedom...

This is our Dining Room...

See that window...See how high it is??

Keep that in mind...
When my Mom got home from work today...

She drove in the driveway & when she was
shutting the car off, she saw a fluffy little
white tail run around the front of the car...

She jumped out of the car & called "Abby"...

I came running...

She was freaking out...I don't know why...
I was just coming to great her...

She kept asking me how I got out...

So...I showed her this:
She asked me how I got up there to
tear the screen...

I'm not telling!!!

So...Then she hugged me & hugged me &
her eyes started leaking & she said she almost
didn't come right home & she would have
lost me...she was SOOO upset...
Gosh, Mom...Relax...I'm OK...

I just wanted to enjoy the nice weather...

Ummm...I don't think she is gonna leave the
windows open when she goes to work
from now on....

What made you running away, Abby?
A squirrel provoked you?
Did you get cut flying thru that screen?
Please don't do it again!

Wow, Abby - talk about STORIES! THAT is one heck of a story and one heck of a hole in the screened window. You are ... dare I say ... naughty - or maybe brave would be a better word. Chloe sits in front of a screened window but I doubt she'd go to the lengths you have to actually go through the screen. My goodness...

Your mom came home just in time. You sure had a little adventure there. Yes, do not do that again no matter what!!!!

Glad you're safe.

C'mon - you can tell US! We won't tell your Mom - how DID you get up there? That is Very Impressive Work! (Just don't leave home - it's easy to get lost, and then your Mom would be Very Upset.)

Humans get kind of funny about that stuff so maybe to save your moom some grief you might want to not do that again.

Oh man! What a great escape. Our windows are always opened from the top only. I tend to push out the screens with my big old head and stupid pee-wee tries to escape.

You are very impressive, Abby, but I'm sure you wouldn't want to lose your Mom, so don't scare her like that ever again :) Your poor Mom. But at least you were a good girl to stay right outside the house! I think I would've went wandering off and probably get lost...

Oh, Abby! Quite a jump! I'll tell you the same thing I told Asta--that adventures can be super fun, but our pawrents just don't understand. So we'd better stay safe and sound--for their sake. ;)

Hi, Abby -

Mama, Kaci and I think you found a springboard to jump out the window.

I (Hershey) have been going AWOL a few times. There is a stone wall by our driveway and I keep jumping it to go in my neighbor's yard - they have lots of things that smell gooooood - like squirrels. Mama says I have long legs so I don't have to jump too high.

But pleeeeeeeeease don't do that again. We all would miss you lots and you can tell how much your Mom loves you.

Love -

Hershey and Kaci

P.S. What would Tigger and Rosco do without you?!?

OMG, Abby. What have you done? That's like when I jumped out the car window. Did you see a bird or a squirrel or something?? That broken screen really freaked out my mom but I imagine your mom must have been beside herself. Don't go doing that again, ok? You could get hurt out there all by yourself. What a relief your mom came home when she did.
