Hey you should save that scary eye photo below in case I do another scary eye contest this year....You would win for sure. We don't have any squirrels around our yard since we are in the country. I think all squirrels that live in KS are city squirrels I miss you. My mum says she is swamped and hasn't had time to update my blog or visit anyone. I think all doggies, kitties, etc should have special paw phones so we can bark at each other when the humans are busy. Deetzy Boy
Good thinking, Abby, we have some of that kind inside our house too. Phantom keeps trying to bring them outside but I keep telling him we need to find a "real" one.
Hi Abby In our experience they all run up trees!!! What a cheek that squirrely had - as if he didn't even care that you live there. love and kisses Martha & Bailey xxxx
The nerve! I've got a couple of squirrel who sit on MY porch, eating MY pinecones. And Mom won't let me chase them. (Much.) She just tosses the stuffed ones at me. C'mon - the stuffed ones are practice for the real ones! (And I've killed one stuffed one so far!)
That squirrel doesn't care that he's trespassing on your property. He has no scruples, no conscience, no respect for others... but you need to have a balance in your life and keep all this in perspective. I've learned this in my quest to eradicate the world of this worthless species. Some things ARE more important and your beauty sleep is one of them... you have to take care of yourself so you continue to be extremely, totally, ridiculously CUTE. That's an order. Commander Tank
Very true! Squirrels have no respect! Alright Abby, your an Employee of The Month so I need you to compete in the Ultimate Showdown if you want a chance at winning the grand prize & being Ultimate Employee! Please send me your pics asap! Hugs & Snugs Eduardo the Snuggle Puggle
oh abby, darn squirrel! mom won't let me out of the house too if she sees any stray cats, dogs or little human. she said i'll chase them down and might hit by a car... bummer.
Hi Abby! What courage that squirrely has! You were smart to let him think he has the "upper hand". Let him get good and comfortable and then POUNCE!!! We don't really have many squirrels in our back yard..mostly just birdies. Mommy says I'm too lazy to actually chase them. We did have a little kitty that hung around our back porch for awhile and kept taunting me!

That squirrel looks slow anyway. You can catch him when you are good and ready.

Abby, that squirrel is a smooth walker - he definitely thinks he OWNS the place. I think your pet squirrels are easier to deal with.
Good thing they're not planting their yukky acorns yet. Well, I am barking to tell that critter to get! Here me???
Woof ... rwoof!
Look at that little jerk, he sure did look like he was just out for a little hop about in YOUR yard!!
Hi Abby!
That is a good compromise!! I can't believe the nerve of that guy out in your yard!
Hope you have a good holiday.
