Here's an Update:
OK...I stopped doing that licky thing...
My Mom still doesn't know what my
problem was...
'Ya just gotta keep them on their
toes...'Ya know??
I guess I escaped the trip to the VET...
**********************************
Here's what happened last nite:
My Mom worries too much...
I always do this thing where I keep sticking my
tongue in & out really fast...
My Mom always thinks it's cuz the furs around my
mouth are too long and they get stuck in my mouth...
it constantly all nite long & I couldn't sleep & so,
she couldn't sleep...And, now she wants to
take me to the VET...Cuz she thinks my tooth might
be bothering me or something...
Do any of you do that? If you think you know why I'm
doing it, can you try to explain it to my Mom so she
will stop freaking out??
I fell asleep just about the time that thing that wakes us up
started making that awful sound...I wasn't
ready to get up yet...But she had too...
Thanks,
Abby xxxooo

Gussie
Ditto: Gus as well as Peanut! Two truths, which are usually humorous, but honest. I can't imagine what that is, but it doesn't sound too serious... Let us know.
Hugs and Love,

I lick my chops/beard a lot but not that. Sometimes the vet isn't so bad. What?!
Your Mummy is just worried , they do that a lot. Go to the vet just to make her happy.

Sounds curious, but not too serious. Maybe you should just visit the VET, SORRY! We just don't know what that is!
As long as your vet isn'a skhwirrel, I say a trip to vet to keep your mom khalmed!

PeeEssWoo: Woo sent some furry nice stuff to Stan and Skhruffy ;-)
Is your nose running because of allergies and there are no tissues handy? ummm...maybe you just need some chapstick or something....

We are of no help with the tongue issue, but sometimes it is best to just let Mom take you to the vet so she can put her mind at rest. We just can't imagine it is anything serious.
Woo are so cute.
Tail wags, the OP Pack
Just a little trim and I think you will be fine. a vet? um only if you are sure.
Hi, Abby!
Maybe a visit to the Vet would clear things!
I hope you are doing well now!
Kisses and hugs

If you were doing it in your sleep, I'd think you were dreaming about eating a big feast, but I am not sure what it means when you are awake!

Oh Abby,I do that too!! I thought I was the only dog that does that that's why I have never talked about it on my blog! We have asked the vet before (they don't know either)... I have done it since I was abt 2-3 years old and it happens like twice a year or so. Mom's given up worrying about it cos other than the constant licking, I eat and play and each time it only lasts a few hours.
Let us know if you find out the reason!
Me too! My mom says I must be related to the lizard or frog. Hmm...Well, I'm just tasting the air.
Hey Abby, mommies can sometimes worry so much about us (our mommy is one of them)
we would say go to the vet to make her happy ^_^
we sure hope that it isn't anything serious
wet licks
Nope. Never heard of it. Maybe you're having a tongue spasm. Or maybe your tongue is just tired of staying in your mouth! I wouldn't worry about it.

Hello again cutie,
We just wanted to tell you that we are taking a short break from blogging. There will be no new post for a short period of time in our main blog. Our blog went private a couple of hours ago, so no one will have access to it except for the two of us. but we just want to tell you that we will be back very soon ..and once we do, our blog will go public again ;) *wet licks*

Oh Abby, you had mommy worried!
I did that too then I quitted just in the nick of time to have an unplanned trip to the Vet.
All moms are overreacted and overprotective, I guess they just so dependent on us.
Please come pick up your Awards and see me proposing to my dream girl.
Love ya lot
Gee Abby....
Sorry ta hear ya had yer Mom worried.....'n glad ta hear yer not lickin' anymore...we don't have any idea why ya might do that...
We met a doggie named Sarge in Florida that could be yer twin brother.....but Gram only let my Mom play with 'em....maybe next time we can get better acquainted....
Hope yer all better now......
Dewey Dewster here.....
I do the licking thing, but for me, it's related to my liver dysfunction. I hope it's nothing for you!
Hi Abby, I do that tongue licking thingy too. If its not because my fur around my mouth is too long, its always because I am having stomach upset. My liver reading is always on the high side too and when I do the tongue licking thingy and do a blood test, my liver reading will always be on the high side again.
Sometimes it could be due to change in diet or introduce of new items to your diet.
Luv
Snowball
You ok now Abby??? We've been thinkin' about you and ur lickies...hope that's all cleared up sweet Girl!!!
We're gettin' snow...can ya belive it??? yeeshch...
