Autobiography Week & I Got In Trouble at School...

So...I went to school today...

My friend, Buddy the Cockapoo didn't come..I think he was sick...

The little Black Daschund, Jewels came in late & I didn't get to say Hi to her...

And, she sat in Buddy's spot...

I just wanted to tell her Hi & that she made a mistake & was sitting in Buddy's spot...

My Mom wanted me to stop talking during class...

I was just trying to explain that I hadn't got to say Hi to Jewels...

And, what if Buddy came in & Jewels was in his spot...

So, my Mom tried to pick me up & do the "Calming Exercise"...

I didn't want to be calm...I wanted to say Hi...

The School Lady came over & gave me a Talk-N-2...

I thought she was gonna expell me or something...

Anyway...My Mom says I was not a good girl in school today...

So she is kind of mad at me...

Maybe if I do "Sit" & "Down" & "Stay" really good tonite, she will get over it...

I won a prize in Ben the Rotti's NowZad Dogs Contest...

It came the other day...

I knew it was for me...It had my name on it...

See right there...
I won a Blanket - it has a really cute dog's face on it...

And, there was a Bone Stuffie & a really cool picture of Ben the Rotti...
I couldn't decide what to chew on....Umm...I mean, look at first...
I "looked at" Ben's picture first...I think he slobbered on it a little...

What's Going On?

OK...So, I've been looking out the window from my

Look Out Spot alot lately...

This would be a really cool picture if the string from the blind

wasn't going thru my face...

Anyway...My trees seem to be changing...
Look at this one...It used to be green...I just know it did...
More evidence of this strange happening...
This VERY brave squirrel had the nerve to sit right in my Front Yard
& taunt me while I was taking stock of the Strange Tree Transformation...

My Mom says he is collecting stuff for the winter...

I just think he doesn't realize I am an Expert Squirrel Hunter

& his days are numbered...

Now...As if the Strange Tree Transformation in my

Front Yard wasn't bad enough...

Look at my Back Yard...

And, Still more...
OK...This is getting very disturbing... And, to top it all off...

The leaves are falling off the trees...And, they aren't falling in the right spot...

I'll go out & rearrange them later...

School Update & Awards...

This is an old picture, but this is just what I did when I got

home from School yesterday...

OMdoG...It was soooo much fun...

I made six new friends...

**There was a Little White Maltese like Snowy & Crystal & Mango...

**A German Shepherd whose parents rescued him after his other parents left him in an Apartment when they moved out...WHAT'S WRONG WITH PEOPLE??...

**A Little Black Dashund ( I don't know how to spell that) like Lorenza - only a different color...

**A Little Black Cock-a-Poo...He was sooo cute & playful...

*A White & Tan Cocker Spaniel...He kind of had a crush on me, I think...

**And, a Wheaton Terrier who was kind of far away from me...

So we couldn't talk alot...

But, I'll make sure I get to know him better next time...

We learned how to take treats nicely, & we learned to "Sit" with a hand signal...

I wasn't happy with the School Lady when she told my Mom that if she wanted me to stop jumping all over everyone when they come to see us, that she needs to start ignoring me when she gets home until I calm down...

Sheeesh...I'm just saying Hi...

But, it was mostly fun & I got lots of treats....

And my Mom says I did really good & I was a very Good Girl...

Then I came home & took a nap...

AutoBiography Week - Oct 20th...

Hi, Everydoggie, Kittie, Hammie, or Whatever...

Hey...Our Good Friend, Chef & I have organized an event we are calling

"Auto Biography Week"...

It's gonna begin the week of Oct 20th...& it's gonna be lots of fun...

We are inviting all of you to Blog about your early days as a Puppy, Kitty, Hammie, or Baby Whatever....

We want to know about any amazing experiences way-back-when that are especially memorable to you and your parents...Or about your ordinary past that was filled with love and fun...Maybe you'll want to tell us why your parents wanted a pet and why you were their pick of the litter... Anything you remember from your good old littledays will be fine...Maybe you'll just want to share your baby pictures and videos..That's good too...

Chef's Mom came up with this idea after reading my post last month about how my Mom chose me as her "Replacement Child" when my human sister, Chrissy got married & moved away...That was quite a chore to give a little pup like I was, but my Mom says I did it perfectly...

I picked that up right away...Now I follow her all over the house & say,

"Hey, Mom...I'm Looking"...& she thinks SHE'S training ME...

School & My Yankees...

So...Today was my first day of School...

BUT...My Mom didn't take me with her...

What's up with that???

How Can I Learn If I Don't Go????? Humans make no sense...

She did come home with this stuff & some "Homework"...

So I guess it wasn't a total waste...

And, She says I can go with her next week...

I'm sure it's gonna be fun...

I mean...If school involves Kongs & Treats & Stuffies...

How could it be bad???

The Spa & a Walk in the Yard...

My Mom had more time for me today...

She took me to the Spa first thing this morning...

When she brought me home, she took me outside to....Well, You know...

I kind of like my haircut this time...Remember how awful it was last time...

Last time they even injured my toe...So this time, they told her it was Free...

My Mom was really happy about that one...

My haircuts cost more than her's do...

I found a toad on the deck one nite...

I think he lives in the wood pile, but I'm still investigating...

My Mom is working really long hours this week...Lots going on at her job...

She doesn't have time for me, let alone my Blog...She almost forgot to feed me before she ran off to work this morning...Can you imagine????

My Story...

I read a couple other doggies Stories on some other Blogs...

And, since my Mom is not very creative & our lives are boring right now...

I thought I would tell you where I came from...

Who do you think this is???

It's my Dog Mom, Chloe...She lives with my Mom's Niece...

Here I am with my Mom, Chloe & my Dad, Winston, he lives with my Mom's Niece, too...

My Mom really wanted a replacement child when my human sister, Chrissy got married & moved to Georgia, so she told her Niece that, if Chloe & Winston had puppies, she wanted a little girl that looked just like Chloe...

So on March 17, 2006 I was born...That is St Patrick's Day, so I must be Irish...

There were 4 of us...& my Mom's Niece had Forever Homes for all of us before we were born...

I was born last & I was the smallest...After my 3 brothers were born, & they all looked like my Dad, my Mom's Niece was thinking maybe they weren't gonna get a little white girl puppy for my Mom...But then there I was...

Here's what I looked like when I was a puppy...I was just what my Mom ordered...

I was pretty cute, don't ya think??

My teeth aren't straight, but, then, my Mom really wasn't looking for a show dog...

She just wanted someone to keep her company while she watched the Yankee Games, & I do that really well...

Here I am with my Best Friend, Tigger...

She went away for awhile, but then came back...

My Mom says when I was a puppy, I could turn myself into a pretzel...

This is my First Christmas...

I already knew how to peel a Tennis Ball...See it in the background??

So, that's a little bit of my History...

I'm a very lucky little dog to have sooo many people that love me...

I wish ALL doggies & kitties had that too...

Since I was sick, I really haven't felt like keeping track of what's going on around the house...

My Mom took me for a walk around the Front Yard...

You can come along if you want...

Look at that silly Rose Bush in the front of the house...

It's growing right in front of the window...

My Mom didn't want to cut it off cuz there is a really pretty rose there...

She says she will cut that long branch off after the rose is gone...

Lots of Pee-Mails to catch up on...

Lots of Get Well Cards from my friends in the neighborhood...
Just making sure no one has been messing with my Dad's truck while I was sick...
I usually keep a really good eye out from my Look Out Spot in the window,
but I've been kind of slacking this week...

We missed Rosco Wednesday this week...

I told him he can have two days next week...

Hi, Everyone...Abby's Mom Here, Again...

Don't worry...No more bad news...

Just wanted you to know that last nite when I got home from work, I was greeted by my Little Abby acting just like herself...

She was bouncy & wagging her tail & jumping all over...She was clearly feeling better...

She is still on her meds & eating her diet supplement that the Vet prescribed...I'm still going to give her the pain meds for a couple more days, but she is definately back to normal...

With her being so sick, we have had a hard time keeping track of what's going on with everyone...We'll be catching up with everyone this weekend...

Thank You for all your kind words & prayers & paw crossing...DWB is a great family & Abby & I are sooo happy to be a part of it...

I'm Home...

Hi...I'm back home now, & I gotta tell ALL of you....

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER get "Pan crit itus", or whatever it is...

It is awful...It hurts REALLY bad...

The Vet told my Mom it is like a human getting "Up end dis itus"...

So, I guess anything that ends in "ITUS" is BAD...

I was really scared & my tummy was all hard & big & it hurt really bad....My Mom didn't know how to pick me up, cuz when she touched me it hurt...

The Vet stuck that thing in my butt to see if I was too hot,

& I tried to bite her cuz I was sooo sick...

THEN, the Vet picked me up & my Mom had to leave me...I know she didn't want to cuz she was doing that leaky eye thing, but she told me it would be OK...

OK...My Butt...

They stuck my leg with a big needle & hooked me up to some water bags & put me in a cage...

They called it the "Suite"...I called it a cage...

The only thing that was good is I had my bed & my Piggy...

The Vet did help me, though, I think, cuz after they stuck another needle in me I started to not hurt so bad & I got really sleepy...Then they took some pictures of me with a big camera...

So I slept alot & then Mom came to get me...

I was really happy to see her & I felt a little better, but I was still very sick...

Sometime in the nite I started feeling better...This morning I am still not myself, but I ate & Mom gave me some more of that sleepy medicine, cuz my tummy still hurts - she didn't stick me with a needle, though...

My Mom took the day off to be with me & to say Hi to all my friends...I'm sleepy, so I'm laying right by her in my bed telling her what to say...

So, Thank You for all your good wishes...

I could feel all your good vibes coming my way when I was at the Hospital yesterday...

I know that helped me get better, too...
