weekend with me & we're gonna take walks &

Freezing...

Hi...It's Sunday...The Day of Rest...

My Mom thinks it's The Day of the Bath...

After the Water Torture,

I tried to take a nap but I was too cold...

My Mom tried to tell me, if I let her dry me with

the towel, I wouldn't be so cold...

I keep telling her I DON'T like the towel....

Here's a little video to show you just how cold I was...

You should have a tissue handy...It's pretty sad...

Now, I'm not asking for Sympathy, but....

After watching the Shiver Video,

Mom came over & covered me up....

I'd say Thanks, Mom...But it's all her fault...

I thought I smelled just fine...

need a new one....

My Secretary didn't remember 'til today...

If my secretary wasn't my main source of treats,

That Stuffie next to me is Piggy...She is the Very

First Stuffie I ever had...I LOVE her...I never hurt

her...She gets kind of dirty & then my Mom puts her

in the Big Noisey Bathtub & she comes out like new...

I think she must have just come out of the

Big Noisey Bathtub, cuz she looks really clean in the picture...

Presents...

A Present came in the mail the other day...

My Mom was gonna let me open it on Monday,

but then I jumped thru the screen & she got a

little busy "Abby Proofing" the house...

Anyway...She let me have it today...

I think it's from Addie, Lucie, & Hailey...

So...Can I open it??

I was a Good Girl yesterday....And, I promise

to TRY to be a Good Girl today, too....

She said, "OK"...

I was good today, but then, my Mom had Abby

proofed the house before she went to work

his morning, too...

I did get an EXTRA Walk & a Kong Toy

full of stuff before she left, though...

( Abby's Mom here...Thanks for all the ideas & suggestions...Abby did much better today...I did move the chairs away from the dining room table & I moved the table further from the wall...I didn't see any evidence that she tried to get out or that she did anything else out of the ordinary today...Thanks, again...Pat)

Ideas??

Hi...It's Abby's Mom....

I am totally baffled...Yesterday, Abby told you how she had jumped thru the screen & was outside when I got home...Thank Goodness, I got home when I did...

Well...Today, when I got home there was evidence that she had been running all over the dining room table &, I think, trying to jump thru the window...We have a 1/2 wall on one side of our dining room & she had jumped up on the table next to it & knocked everything off the 1/2 wall...

She had almost knocked everything off a little table in the living room, too...And, she had knocked over the garbage can...

This is so out of character for Abby...She is normally very quiet & calm...I just don't know what has gotten into her...Frankly, I'm a bit concerned...

If anyone has any ideas what might be causing this drastic change in her behavior, please share them with me...

Freedom...

This is our Dining Room...

Keep that in mind...

When my Mom got home from work today...

She drove in the driveway & when she was

shutting the car off, she saw a fluffy little

white tail run around the front of the car...

She jumped out of the car & called "Abby"...

I came running...

She was freaking out...I don't know why...

I was just coming to great her...

She kept asking me how I got out...

So...I showed her this:

She asked me how I got up there to

tear the screen...

I'm not telling!!!

So...Then she hugged me & hugged me &

her eyes started leaking & she said she almost

didn't come right home & she would have

lost me...she was SOOO upset...

Gosh, Mom...Relax...I'm OK...

I just wanted to enjoy the nice weather...

Ummm...I don't think she is gonna leave the

windows open when she goes to work

from now on....

Road Trip...

So...Saturday Morning...My Mom & Dad got all ready

& my Mom put my harness on me & said, "Let's Go" ..

OK, Mom...Open the door...

First we drove by some houses...
We kept going & came to some farms...

Look at these silly dogs I saw along the way...

My Mom said they were Llamas???

Do you think they are related to us Lhasas???

It took a while, but when we got here, I knew

where we were going...

These two Watchdogs are always on guard at...

THE VET'S HOUSE...

I wasn't too upset...Mom asked me to wait

patiently...So, I did....

There were LOTS of other doggies there, but

my Mom said their parents might not like it if

she took their picture...So I can't show you the

friends I made while we waited...

She said I could talk to these guys, though, & we

could take their picture...I think they live here or

somthing, cuz they are here every time I come...

They don't talk much, though...I think the Vet

trained them not to bark & run around too much...

I met this guy, too...Do you think he is related

to Joey & Tanner??

Sorry the picture is sooo blurry...My Mom is

not the best photographer...

Then the cute lady came out & said, "Abby"...

Uh Oh...I don't think I like this table...

And, I KNOW I don't like THAT place...

I remember being there when I had that

Pan-Crit-Itus Stuff...

Mom: PLEASE, don't let them take me in there...OK??

They didn't take me in that awful room, but the

Vet did give me one of those Picky Things & squirted

some Worm Medicine down my throat...

I told him I wasn't a worm, but he didn't listen...

Anyway...Then it was time to go, so I stopped outside

to read some Pee-Mail & leave some, too...

Then we started our Road Trip home...

spot to hide it...

Priorities...

My Mom is working those crazy hours

again this week....

I'm doing alot of this...

Just waiting for her to help me catch up

with everybody...

She needs to get her priorities straight...

Our 4th of July BBQ...On the 5th of July??

My Mom never gets the date right...

Last Year our 4th of July BBQ was on the 6th...

Anyway...I kind of just chilled all morning...

I knew there was something going on cuz

my Mom was running aroung like a nut...

My Dad went outside...

He got that noisy tractor thing out that

makes the grass shorter...

Mom took some towels out of the dryer so

I kept them warm until she folded them...
The house smelled like lots of yummy stuff
so I knew it was almost time for the BBQ...

Are they here yet, Mom???
Yep...Here they are...

Here's Maddy & that cute little boy is Jay...

That guy relaxing in the chair is my human
sister, Chrissy's hubby, John...

We're sooo glad he is here with us this year...

Last year he was far away in Iraq...

This is Emmie...
Maddie & Emmie went in the pool while
Jay found some sticks in the yard...
I waited for crumbs to fall...I wanted to make
sure there wasn't much of a mess for my Mom
to clean up after everybody left...

I sat with Jenny for a while...She had a little
hamburger left over...She shared it with me...

I like Jenny...
Jeff had to go in the pool really quick
when Maddie decided she could swim
without her Life Jacket...

I didn't know Jeff could move that fast...
After that my Dad said pool time was over
& he took the ladder down...

Jay was snoopervising...
Hey, Mom: Everyone is getting their stuff
together...Is the BBQ over??
Can we have another one next weekend??
